The Warsaw-based multi-kulti music collective Masala Soundsystem enters the year 2021 with a publication of their new single, titled "No Tomorrow". It's their first single recorded in English since 2016. Musically - drum'n'bass meets traditional instruments from the mountains of Armenia and from the Mongolian steppes. Lyrically - using Shakespeare's language, the band kindly informs that quite probably, in terms of human devastating influence on the climate, without any deeper reflection we have just crossed the point of no return. And we will all die. Rather sooner than later. In a painful way. And yet, despite hundreds of signs, as a species (of idiots) we still simply refuse to care about it in any way. Well...
Masala Soundsystem is a musical ensemble from Warsaw, Poland. It's continuously operating since 2002, combining traditional folk instruments and techniques from Poland and other parts of the World with alternative modern electronic music from a wide spectrum of urban genres. In terms of 'message", the group's Polish and English conscious lyrics describe social and economic phenomena that shape the not-so-optimistic (but very real) image of the contemporary world, both in micro- and in macro- scale. All of this is fuelled with "thoughtful rage" and saturated with punk energy - which, summed up, gives a fascinating and one-of-a-kind whole, eluding any rigid frames dictated by genres and cultures.

Warszawski międzykulturowy kolektyw Masala Soundsystem wkracza w 2021 rok z nowym singlem “No Tomorrow”. I wszyscy umrzemy. Raczej wcześniej niż później. I będzie bolało.
